Brazilian. Alexis studied at Lucia Millas Ballet school in Brazil (1994-1997) and won several medals in national ballet competitions . He joined English National Ballet school in London in 1997 and that same year, received a Bronze Medal at the Adeline Genee Awards. He then,joined ENB company in 1999 hand was promoted to soloist in 2001. Among the roles he performed with the company are, Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake and Prince Albert in Giselle, both choreographed by Derek Deane, Prince's friend and The Seasons in Cinderella by Michael Corder, Apollo and the main role in Square Dance by George Balanchine. He then joined Aterballetto,directed by Mauro Bigonzetti from 2002 to 2005 interpreting most of the company's repertoire and works by guest choreographers, including William Forsythe's Steptext and Baby Gang by Jacopo Godani. He joined the Stuttgart Ballet in 2005(-2009) ,directed by Reid Anderson. There,he performed the title role of Othello, John Neumeier, Gurn in La Sylphide by Peter Schaufuss, several solo roles in ballets by John Cranko, Christian Spuck, Douglas Lee, Maurice Béjart, Jerome Robbins, Paul Lightfoot and Sol Leon Marc Spradling, Uwe Scholz, Jorma Elo, Edward Clug, Kevin O'Day, and leading roles in the Rite of Spring and Voluntaries by Glen Tetley. He joined the Ballets de Monte Carlo as a soloist dancer in August 2009.
