Born in Moscow. In 1991, on completing her studies at the Moscow College of Choreography (today the Moscow Academy of Choreography), where she was a pupil of Sophia Golovkina, she joined the Bolshoi Ballet Company.
In 1996, she graduated from the performers faculty of the Moscow Academy of Choreography.
She rehearsed all her roles with Raisa Struchkova. Today she rehearses with Svetlana Adyrkhaeva.
