Eun Young Ahn

Born: Seoul, South Korea

Born in Seoul, Korea, Eun Young Ahn began her ballet training at the age of eleven at the Sun Hwa Art School. She also studied, on scholarship, at The Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington, D. C.

In 1998, Ahn joined the Universal Ballet Company as a demi soloist. She also danced as a group soloist at the Berlin Staatsoper, Germany, where her repertory included roles in La Bayadère, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker and Ballet Imperial. She returned, as a soloist, to the Universal Ballet Company in 2003, where her repertoire included roles in Swan Lake, Giselle, Don Quixote, La Bayadère, The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet and Clara in The Nutcracker.

Ahn joined American Ballet Theatre as a member of the corps de ballet in December 2007.
