Born in Richmond, Virginia, Jeffrey Golladay began his dance training at the age of 10 with Thom Clower at Ballet Dallas where he studied from 1990-1996 and then at the Houston Ballet Academy from 1996-1997.

Golladay joined the San Francisco Ballet in 1997 where his repertoire included a Carnival Dancer in Lubovitch’s Othello, an Entertainer in MacMillan’s The Invitation, Balanchine’s Symphony in C, an Acrobat in Helgi Tomasson’s Romeo and Juliet, the Lead Russian and Chinese in Lew Christensen’s The Nutcracker, Robbins’ Glass Pieces, Harald Lander’s Études and Tomasson’s stagings of Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake.

Golladay joined the Houston Ballet in 2001 where his repertoire included The Principal in Enos’ The Long Road Home, the Jaguar in James Kudelka’s Firebird, John in McIntye’s Peter Pan, Senate in Ben Stevenson’s Cleopatra, a Militron and the Russian Dance in Stevenson’s The Nutcracker and the pas de trois in Stevenson’s Swan Lake.

Golladay joined American Ballet Theatre as a member of the corps de ballet in January 2003. His repertoire with the Company includes a Satyr in Artemis, Head Fakir in La Bayadère, Reds in Brief Fling, the Beggar Chief in Manon, the Lead Pontevedrian in The Merry Widow, a Carnival Dancer in Othello, a Groom in Petrouchka, the Neopolitan Dance in Swan Lake and roles in Baker’s Dozen, Drink to Me Only With Thine Eyes, One of Three, Sechs Tänze, Sinfonietta, Within You Without You: A Tribute to George Harrison and workwithinwork.
