Born: New York, United States
I grew up in New York, New York attending Ballet Hispanico at the age of three. After moving to Rutherford, New Jersey I still commuted daily to the city for my ballet and flamenco classes. I strongly pursued ballet and began training at Studio-Maestro (now known as Manhattan Youth Ballet) for two years beginning in 2005. My ballet career began its course when I took the San Francisco Ballet summer program. I was given a scholarship to stay at the school the upcoming year in level eight. That year of 2007-08 I had the priveledge to work with Kevin Haigen and John Neumier in the lead "Dreamer" roll in Neumier's ballet Yondering. The next year I became a trainee under the leadership of Jean-Yves Esquerre. During the time I had student appearances with the company in Tomasson's Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, and Stars and Stripes Finale. I was hired as an apprentice with the San Francisco Ballet for the 2009-10 Season. I am currently in the Corps de Ballet

Merde!
Thanks!
Your Cast on Saturday (2/5/11 2 pm) looks 'hella' terrific! Kimberly, you stand out nicely in Giselle, even in what I call the '2nd Peasant from the Left' roles!
Why thank you! I always wondered if the audience would notice the overly dramatic, darker complexion, peasant girl! And yes, I am very excited to dance with my cast of Symphonic Variations on Saturday's Matinee... tis' a treat :)
