Marijn Rademaker was born in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
He started to learn ballet at the age of 8 in ‘De Lindenberg’ in Nijmegen. He was asked to audition by the National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam. After studying for a year in Amsterdam he decided that he wanted to go to ‘De Hogeschool voor de Kunsten’ ( now Artez) in Arnhem because that ment he was closer to fis family. He stayed there 4 years. His last years he studie at ‘The Royal Conservarory’ in The Haque. His most important teachers were, Jan Willem de Roo, Marian Sarstädt, Simon Mottram and Netty van den Bosch.
In the year 2000/2001 he entered the corps the ballet of the Stuttgart Ballet. In the season 2004/2005 he was promoted to demi soloist. Stuttgart Ballet director Reid Anderson promoted him directly to Principal Dancer after the revival of John Neumeiers ‘Lady of the Camelias’ in 2006/2007 in which he danced ‘Armand’ with Sue Jin Kang as Marguerite.
His principal roles include: Albrecht in Giselle, Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake (Cranko), Prince Desiré in The Sleeping Beauty (Márcia Haydée after Marius Petipa), Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Don José in Carmen (Both Cranko), James in La Sylphide (Peter Schaufuss after August Bournonville), Allan Gray in A Streetcar named Desire and Jago in Othello (both John Neumeier), Pierrot in Pierrot lunaire (Glen Tetley), Legende, Lenski in Onegin, Lucentio in The Taming of the Shrew (all Cranko) ,Theme and Variations (George Balanchine) and the Messenger of Death in The Song of the Earth (Sir MacMillan), Leonce and Lena (Spuck).
His repertoire include: Two pieces for HET (van Manen) Vertginous Thrill of Exectitude (Forsythe), No More Play, Forgotten Land and Return from a strange Land (Kylián), Tchaikovsky pas de deux, Violin Concerto, 4 Temperaments (all Balanchine), Dances at a Gathering (Robbins), The Rite of Spring (Tetley), Corps (van Manen), Hommage a Boshoi (Cranko), Mono Lisa (Galili), Skew Whiff (Lightfoot/Leon), melodious gimmick to keep the boys in line (Spradling), Siebte Symphonie (Scholz), Siegmund - Der Sandmann (Spuck), Le pas sur la Neige - Brouillards (Cranko), Grand pas de deux (Christian Spuck), Requiem (Sir MacMillan), Pocket Concerto (Clug).
Many choreographers have created roles for him: Wayne McGregor in Nautilus, Eden Eden and Yantra, Marco Goecke made the solo Äffi on him, Mauro Bigonzetti created the main role Rocco in his full length I Fratelli for the Stuttgart Ballet. Resident choreographer Christian Spuck created Alwa, in Lulu, eine Monstretragödie, Siegmund in Der Sandmann and roles in Songs and Sleepers Chamber for him. Also Marc Spradling made a role in the Shaking Tent.

John Cranko Gala in Stuttgart, Germany, Sue Jin Kang and Friends tour 2008, Korea, 10th Shanghai International Festival of Arts, China,
Gala of International Ballet Stars 2008, Cincinnati, USA,
ARDT Gala in Arnhem, The Netherlands, Bolzano Danza Festival, Italy, Birgit Keil Gala 2009, Karlsruhe Germany, ApuliArte Festival Gala 2009, Barletta Italy, IX Gala internazionale di danza, Salerno Italy, Aids Benifit Gala in Pforzheim, Germany, Red Cross Benifit Gala in Udine, Italy, DanceEast DanceHouse opening Gala Ipswich, England.

Marijn Rademaker was a guest with the Zurich Ballet. He danced Peer Gynt in the full length ballet Peer Gynt by Heinz Spoerli. This production was recording and made into a DVD. He also guested with the Hamburg Ballet as Armand in Lady of the Camelias in 2007. At the 34th Nijinski gala in Hamburg he danced excerps as Tadzio in John Neumeiers Death in Venice with Lloyd Riggins as von Aschenbach. He recently guested as Prince Florimund in Sir Peter Wright's version of The Sleeping Beauty with the Dutch National Ballet.

Prizes: Grace Prize (1999), Der Faust in the category Best Performer Dance for Äffi(2006), Future Prize (2009), Premio ApuliArte (2009).
