Pedro Lapetra

Pedro Lapetra studied in Escuela Municipal de Danza de Zaragoza (Spain) from 1986 to 1996 and from 1996 to 1999 studied with Cristina Miñana; From 1997 to 2002 also studied in Bartholin International Ballet Seminar in Copenhagen (Denmark),working with master teachers such as:Johnny Eliasen, Vivi Flindt, Adam Luders, Fleming Ryberg, Robert Denvers, Nicolai Fadechev, Lloyd Riggins, Laura Alonso, Nicolaj Hubbe, Fleming Flindt, David Howard... In 2001 joined European ballet to perform the lead role in Coppelia touring all around Great Britain. In 2001-02 joined Norwegian National Ballet under Dinna Bjorn's artistic direction where he performed works by Jiri Kylian, Michael Corder, Paul Lightfoot, Michael Pink, George Balanchine... In May 2003 joined English National Ballet and since then Pedro has performed in numerouses productions such as Coppelia,Cinderella,Swan Lake (Neapolitan dance), Nutcracker (Russian Dance),Romeo & Juliet, Sleeping Beauty(Bluebird), Alice in Wonderland (White Rabbit), Le Corsaire Pas Deux,Manon (Beggar Chief),Giselle (Peasant Pas deux)... Pedro has performed in some Ballet Galas dancing Don Quixote Pas Deux, Flower Festival in Genzano, Tchaikovsky Pas Deux. He was awarded with 3rd Prize al Rieti International Ballet Competition in 2005.
