Tiffany Hedman began her training at San Francisco Ballet School under Lola de Avila and Irina Jacobson. At age 13, she was awarded with an endowment for the continuation of her studies. Hedman continued training at Boston Ballet School and became a member of Boston Ballet II in 2002. She danced at Miami City Ballet for four seasons from 2004-2008 before joining Boston Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in 2008. In 2010 she was promoted to Second Soloist.
Hedman's Boston Ballet repertoire includes Mikko Nissinen's Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker, Sir Frederick Ashton's La Fille mal gardée, John Cranko's Onegin, Maina Gielgud's Giselle, Rudolf Nureyev's Don Quixote, Marius Petipa's The Sleeping Beauty, Rudy van Dantzig's Romeo and Juliet, Pino Alosa's Paquita, George Balanchine's Jewels, Stars and Stripes, La Valse, Ballo della Regina, The Four Temperaments, James Kudelka's Cinderella, Jiří Kylián's Petite Mort and Falling Angels, Jorma Elo's Brake The Eyes and the world premiere of Jorma Elo's Sharp Side of Dark.
Featured roles include Snow Queen in Nissinen's The Nutcracker, 2nd principal in Emeralds, Dawn in Coppélia, 3rd Theme and Choleric in The Four Temperaments, soloist in Ballo della Regina, soloist in Theme and Variations, soloist in Diamonds, Pas De Trois in Petipa's The Sleeping Beauty and Mercedes in Jorma Elo's Carmen.
Hedman’s Miami City Ballet repertoire includes numerous works by Balanchine including Agon, Raymonda, Divertimento #15, Symphony in 3, Symphony in C, Ballet Imperial, Stars and Stripes, The Nutcracker, Donzetti Variations, Serenade, La Sourse, Jewels, La Sonnambula, Western Symphony, Stravinski Violin Concerto, and Ballo della Regina. Hedman also danced Twyla Tharp’s Push Comes to Shove, Paul Taylor’s Piazolla Caldera and Antony Tudor’s Lilac Garden.
