Ty Gurfein

Ty Gurfein began his training at the School of American Ballet, under Peter Boal and Olga Kostritsky. While at SAB, Ty danced in several productions with New York City Ballet, including Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, and George Balanchine's The Nutcracker. In 2004, Ty enrolled in the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre, under the direction of Franco De Vita. In 2006 he was asked to join the American Ballet Theatre II, where he danced for two years under the direction of Kirk Peterson and Wes Chapman. In 2009 Ty joined Morphoses under the direction of Christopher Wheeldon.
Ty is currently working with David Howard.
