Hello, thank goodness fans are allowed on here or I would definitely be out of my element. My connection to ballet is through my two teen-aged nieces. This is my second year taking a pas de deux class with my older niece and it has given me a tremendous respect for dancers. I had taken my niece to see a performance of The Nutcracker when she was five and it was magical. I had never seen it before and my niece was completely captivated by the beauty, grace and athleticism on stage. A few years ago she danced the role of Clara in her youth ballet production and it brought tears to my eyes. This year she is sharing the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy and I know she will be amazing. And thanks to Rebecca King for opening up the electronic world of ballet to me.

I attended the Colorado Ballet's production of Dracula over the weekend. It was unlike any ballet I've ever seen before. And the venue is awesome.
I was privileged to attend a performance of Reflections and was mesmerized by the beauty, charm, grace and power of the dancers.
Since I've last been on here I've seen San Francisco Ballet and ABT come to Southern California and I've been to Boston to see Boston Ballet and to Miami to see Miami City Ballet. I've also seen Joffrey Ballet in San Diego and two of the local companies, San Diego Ballet and City Ballet. Enjoy it all.
